Rocket Jamboree Schedule

The 2010 Multi-County Rocket Football Jamboree is Saturday, September 11.  All games will be played at Benton Harbor High School.

August 4
- Coaches Clinic, 6 - 8 p.m. Lakeshore Middle School Library
August 5 -Lakeshore Rocket and Flag Football Mini Camp, At the high school practice field located behind the stadium. This is for Rocket and Flag football players. Players should wear comfortable clothing and be prepared to start working toward another successful season of Rocket Football.   Parents will meet the LRF board, coaches, receive practice schedules from individual coaches and enjoy a special guest speaker.  All players will rotate through drill stations.

August 14 - Jog-A-Thon, 9 a.m. - Noon,  includes equipment distribution at Lincoln Township park At Lincoln Township Park.  It is our expectation that ALL Rocket and Flag Football Players and Cheerleaders will participate in our conditioning fundraiser.  Participants are to collect pledges for each lap they run/walk or on a flat rate. A pledge form is attached.  At the conclusion of jogging time, equipment distribution for Rocket Players will go as noted below:
 
9 – 10 a.m.:Major level players are asked to participate. Equipment can be picked up AFTER completion of the Jog-A-Thon.
10 – 11 a.m.: Minor level players are asked to participate. Equipment can be picked up AFTER completion of the Jog-A-Thon.
Flag players and cheerleaders can join in any time between 9 and 11 a.m.

Week of August 9 - Practices Begin

August 28 - Kick Off Classic, Al Stockman Stadium, A fun day of football for the entire family at the Lakeshore High School Field! Flag, Major and Minor teams and Cheerleaders will kick of the season of games with inner-squad scrimmages. Team pictures will also be taken. 

September 11 (Tentative)The first official league event – 20-minute scrimmages between teams – for Rocket players only.  Site and time information to follow.

September 17 - Rocket Night Lakeshore High School, Rocket Night at Lakeshore High School.  Rocket (major and minor teams) players and cheerleaders will be highlighted during the pregame activitiesas the LHS varsity prepares to take on the Benton Harbor Tigers.  Flag football players do not participate.  More information to come.

September 18  - Football season begins!
